In Order to Form a More Perfect Union

Today we celebrate our nation’s 243rd birthday with parades, fireworks and barbecues, and along with our friends and neighbors we recognize the great gifts bestowed on each of us as citizens.  The United States was formed as a representative democracy.  The engine for our form of government is the collective will and commitment of its citizens to continue the work started by the Founders to form a more perfect union.  At moments in our history when the need for this commitment to improve upon ourselves is even more great it has been engaged young citizens that have led us.  As our next generation of citizens prepares to renew this commitment to the work started by our Founders, we are committed to providing them with the tools, resources and support they need.  We hope you will join us.
