Summer of Civics
At the Princeton Youth Program for Civic Engagement we think the summer is a great time for young citizens to have fun, build their civic knowledge, and explore their role as active citizen. After all, it was during a long hot Philadelphia summer in 1787 when the framers of the U.S. Constitution created the enduring document that still defines the nation and the protection for its citizens more than 230 years later. Make this your Summer of Civics!
NOTE: The Summer of Civics activities are designed for citizens in Elementary School
Stop by the PYC table for fun activities on June 27, July 25, September 5 and October 17 at the Princeton Farmers’ Market this summer — in downtown Princeton at Hinds Plaza every Thursday from 10 am-3 pm. Show us what civic learning you have been up to and receive rewards and recognitions.
